Chris Dawson

Extensive expertise in the automotive, energy, engineering, and technology industries Chief Executive Officer and CFO leading the turnaround at Arcimoto. Mr. Dawson joined the Company’s Board in August of 2022 and became CEO in April of 2023. He became Chairman of the Board in October of 2023. Now is driving Arcimoro into autonomous fleets. He is also CTO of Luz Latam pushing large scale energy solutiona into Latan America in nuclear, hydrogen and energy storage. Started at Tesla in 2012 as a consulting CNC engineer, coming on full time in 2014 for a 5 year stint where he led a number of key teams: • 100kw Battery Production - at the time was the biggest electric vehicle battery ever conceived • Model X Production - He was available for all issues on the line 24/7 and lived in the Tesla parking lot for 9 months during turn around. Built the team to 50+ from 26 people when he took over • Model 3 Engineering Sustaining Team - Hired and trained 100 people in 9 months. That training model is still in place today and is now its own department that serves all departments worldwide for training needs • Model 3 Production –Led team that, within six months, increased production from 4 cars a day to 900-1000 cars/day Left Tesla in 2019 and started working on heavy duty EVs, joining Atlis Motor Vehicles as an initial investor and later ran the engineering team. He then built his own engineering firms to focus on opportunity in the DOD, focused on the electrification of battlefield assets. A former U.S. Navy submarine nuclear chemist and helicopter flight instructor, holds an MBA from University of Denver, a BS in Nuclear Technologies from Excelsior College and a certification in Helicopter Flight Instruction.
