Johnny is a technology designer and programmer from Vancouver, best known as a founding employee and Principal Engineer at Slack (2012-2023).He is also the author of Building Slack (https://buildingslack.com) and founder of Appleseed Software.Johnny is the chair of the Vancouver chapter of the Surfrider Foundation.
