Mikhail Klassen

Mikhail Klassen is a Senior AI Engineer at Planet Labs, working at the intersection of AI and geospatial data to understand our changing world. He is also the host of the Vancouver AI Salon, a community of curious minds engaging with the social and technological impacts of AI. He has a PhD in astrophysics and previously cofounded Paladin AI, an applied ML aerospace startup acquired in 2023.
