Monica Richards

As a former farm girl turned eco interior designer and trained Hollywood TV Host, Monica launched her lifestyle brand, ecobabe, to make sustainable living second nature with credence that what we do matters. In addition to the ecobabe blog, YouTube and shop, Monica provides sustainability consultations for homeowners and brands, as well as zero waste and composting workshops for companies worldwide. She also co-founded 3arth Co - a conscious community with a climate-just vision at its core.

Throughout her hosting career, Monica has reported on rounds of red carpets and press junkets, while starring in commercials and online news shows with a multitude of viral videos. Currently, Monica is the face of Better Earth, where she hosts a popular solar education series. With features in Voyage LA and Green & Beyond Mag, Monica is also a voice for sustainability on podcasts and on-air appearances, including The Darin Olien Show, Good Day LA and CBS New York. She moderated a panel on breakthrough plastics advancements at SXSW Austin. She helped ban single-use cutlery in food delivery apps with Habits of Waste. Her current projects include: the ecobabe 101 series - a social series for key sustainable living tips that actually work, as well as Red Listed - a revolutionary streaming series about active missions in wildlife conservation, and Passepartout - a podcast dedicated to unlocking life’s endless tools of alchemy.

Monica’s North Star is to propel sustainability to media’s forefront so that culture may be shifted by bridging the gap between society and nature, while weaving sustainable living through daily life.
