Aubrey Coleman

Aubrey Coleman is the Senior State Policy Manager for Rivian Automotive, leading state and local policy across the South and Central United States. Based in Dallas, Texas, he works with lawmakers, regulators, and industry partners to advance electric vehicle mobility and Rivian’s commitment to decarbonization through clean energy, helping build a future where the world remains adventurous for generations to come.

Prior to Rivian, Aubrey’s career has been defined by expanding access to critical infrastructure. As a former Director at Microsoft, he led the initiatives that scaled internet access across marginalized communities in sub-Saharan Africa and Asia-Pacific, while supporting programs in the United States that connected more than 3 million rural Americans to broadband internet.

A trusted advisor on critical digital infrastructure, he has counseled the White House, state and federal legislators in the US, and international diplomatic and developmental agencies on digital infrastructure policy and cybersecure protected technology. His career also includes policy and legal roles at T-Mobile, alliantgroup, and Alaska Airlines.

A Birmingham, Alabama native, Aubrey holds a Juris Doctor, an M.S. in Civil Engineering, and a B.S. in Commerce with a focus in Monetary Policy from The University of Alabama.
